Backstage at the Hot Stove Cool Music Benefit Concert
Former Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein may have trotted off to Chicago, but he comes back for the annual Hot Stove Cool Music Benefit, which this year was held on Saturday, January 11 at the Paradise. Eptsein joined actor/writer Mike O’Malley and Peter Gammons as host.
The night included performances from Trigger Hippy with Joan Osborne, Howie Day, members of the Black Crowes, Kay Hanley, Kingsley Flood, and The Baseball Project featuring members of R.E.M. Proceeds benefit the Foundation to Be Named Later, a nonprofit that serves disadvantaged youth and their families in Boston and Chicago.
