2016 marks Boston Children’s Hospital’s fourth year as the non-profit beneficiary of Design Home. Each year, Boston magazine opens up the Design Home to the public for tours, with all proceeds benefiting the hospital. Additionally, you may sign up to volunteer during tours, presenting a great opportunity to benefit a wonderful organization.
Children and teenagers aren’t just small adults—their bodies are still developing and require unique care from a professional who understands their needs. The pediatric specialists from Boston Children’s Hospital are specially trained to provide patients with unique support services, specially calibrated medical equipment for younger patients, and medicine and radiation doses that have been carefully adjusted for small children and growing adolescents.
