Ladies, you are probably wearing the wrong bra size and don’t even know it, according to a Time article.

So it’s a good thing that Forty Winks, the 2011 Best of Boston pick for lingerie, is throwing a Bra Party on Friday evening. Attendees can get fitted for the proper bra size while enjoying complimentary champagne and snacks. As a bonus, the boutique is offering a deal during Friday’s party: Buy one bra, receive 15 percent off your purchase; buy two bras, receive 25 percent off your purchase.

“We wanted to offer people a time to come in, get some new lingerie for spring, and revamp their wardrobe,” says Rachel Wentworth, co-owner of the Cambridge-based lingerie boutique.

The shop just got in new items for spring and summer, which includes pieces in pastel and neon colors, such as mint green and periwinkle blue. Expect to see rompers and one-piece styles as big go-to pieces this year. We love Forty Winks’ selection of designer lingerie, including Eberjey swimwear, Chantelle demis, and Elle Macpherson Intimates nighties.

“Summer is a fun time in lingerie because you can show a bit of it off with tanks, so we like to keep it fun,” says Wentworth.
