At Haley Fortier’s new wine bar, Nathálie, opening later this month in the Fenway, the future is female—and so is the wine list. Named for her grandmother, who’s still full of joie de vivre at 91, the sister spot to Haley.Henry Wine Bar devotes its entire by-the-glass list to small-production wines made by women. Why? “They’ve been in the industry for a long time and they just haven’t had the exposure they deserve. We all need strong females we can look up to,” says Fortier, who got her start in the business working for Barbara Lynch and Cat Silirie as part of the opening team at Sportello. Belly up to the European-inspired drink rail on the wine bar’s patio and sip on that.
