This glorious destination, complete with posh doormen standing under red awnings, is situated on the grounds from which British troops embarked for the battle of Lexington. But today’s hotel is a modern home to its unforgettable grand Imperial ballroom. It’s unlike any other in Boston.

If you can get past the floor-to-ceiling windows or the two giant Baccarat crystal chandeliers (but who can), your attention goes immediately to those glorious balconies. Get creative, and use the top as a lounge overlooking the dance floor, and the bottom for the main dinner area. The ballroom itself hosts up to 400 people seated with a dance floor, 500 without room for dancing.
When your guests arrive for your wedding, the party begins right away with their stroll through the breathtaking and recently revealed new lobby. Part of a $100 million total renovation, it now boasts a sophisticated gray and white color palette, dramatic floor-to-ceiling columns encased in ceramic, ridiculously chic floors, and a fun Art Deco vibe. Let’s face it. It has more character than a lobby should be allowed to have—a distinct change from the Boston Park Plaza of old.

The wedding package has all the trimmings (think passed hors d’oeuvres, elegantly displayed appetizers, and a seated three-course dinner), as well as a professionally designed custom wedding cake and late night sweet or savory bites to keep your crowd energized through the night.
