Now I Can Die in Peace
In this collection of sports columns augmented with fresh comedic riffs, ESPN The Magazine’s “Sports Guy” Simmons tries to deliver the reader from the frustration felt by Sox fans in the late ’90s to the exaltation of last season's long-awaited World Series win. And he does exactly that. The problem with this book is that it feels neither new nor different, making it best left to hard-core Simmons fans and people who can't get enough of last year's baseball season.
