New Spot For Financial District Opens

No, it’s not the newest stop on the Green Line. Kingston Station, which officially opened on September 17, is the latest addition to the Financial District restaurant scene. Housed in the space that used to be Peking Tom’s, the restaurant offers crowd-pleasing American bistro food like braised mahi with roasted tomato and crispy risotto ($23), steak frites ($26), and the hearty Station Burger, which could almost qualify as breakfast, with a sunnyside up egg, applewood smoked bacon, and Gruyere cheese ($13).

On the drinks side, bartender Eric Pierce concocts creative cocktails with names like the Vesper, the Fidel Castro and the Partly Cloudy. And martinis come in two sizes: small and large (after this week, make mine a large).
