Picking the right wedding ’do can be tricky: You need a glam style that can withstand hours of dancing, but you don’t want helmet head. We put staffer (and soon-to-be bride) Casey McNamara in the hands of four top stylists to see what looks they’d create.

Marisa Marino, owner of Stilisti Salon and a Newbury Street vet with nearly 20 years of experience as a stylist, put together an elegant design for Casey. After blow-drying with Oribe gel serum and setting the hair in pin curls, Marino pulled everything back loosely, leaving just a few curls cascading down her back. A perfect white orchid placed behind one ear adds extra drama and keeps the sophisticated ’do from looking too symmetrical.
