As Skinner auction house’s director of fine jewelry, Victoria Bratberg is highly trained in spotting treasures. A former jewelry designer herself, she has a particular fondness for the intricate workmanship of the Italian artisans at Buccellati, as displayed in this silver Villa Palladio water pitcher ($2,995) sold at Lux Bond & Green. “The texture and finish are very feminine,” says Bratberg, who envisions the piece on her dining room table. “There’s just enough detail to catch your eye, but it’s not over the top.”
