At 2:50 p.m. Monday afternoon, Massachusetts observed a moment of silence in honor of the Boston Marathon victims at the request of Gov. Patrick, Mayor Menino, and the One Fund. Across Twitter, as bells rang to mark the moment’s end, people shared images of the city’s stillness. Here are a few:
