Photos from Pillow Fight Day 2014 in Boston
Boston celebrated the arrival of spring weather today with the 8th annual International Pillow Fight Day. People from all walks of life gathered at Cambridge Common armed with fluffy and soft weapons for the “secret” gathering. The event was hosted by Banditos Misteriosos, an organization dedicated to bringing free events to Boston.
The 2014 Pillow Fight in Boston was prefaced with three rules:
1. No beanbag, feathered, or zippered pillows.
2. Take off your glasses.
3. Don’t hit anybody without a pillow or holding a camera.
Luckily, there were no injuries, but there were appearances by a shirtless man in a horse mask and a Mexican luchador. If that’s hard to imagine, don’t worry, we’ve got the photos to prove it:

Last year’s Pillow Fight in Boston brought in more than 1,000 participants.
While the demographics for Pillow Fight participants were geared toward adults, younger pillow throwers did make appearances at this year’s battle.
