Celebrate Mother’s Day Among Food Trucks and Lilac Sprigs

This Mother’s Day, treat mom to some amazing scenery, French macarons, a gourmet ice cream sandwich, and maybe even a Mei Mei Double Awesome. The 106th Annual Lilac Sunday celebration at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum will feature 10 food trucks and an opportunity to picnic in the Arboretum’s lush springtime surroundings.
Participating trucks include:
- Batch Ice Cream
- The Dining Car
- Bon Me
- Frozen Hoagies
- Boston’s Baddest Burger
- The Happy Taco
- Cameo Macaron
- M&M BBQ Ribs
- Captain Marden’s Cod Squad
- Mei Mei Street Kitchen
- Clover Food Truck
In addition to the food trucks, there will also be children’s activities, and ongoing tours of the Arboretum’s extensive lilac collection.
Tours and event activities will take place throughout the northern portion of the Arboretum, within short walking distance of the Arborway Gate, Forest Hills Gate, Centre Street Gate, and South Street Gate. There is no admission fee, though donations and membership gifts are welcome. Dogs are welcome, too.
