The town of Rumford, Rhode Island, located just east of Providence, is home to a once-vacant 1905 library that was recently restored to a polished residence. With a solid brick exterior and the “Rumford Library” sign still above the entrance, the interior space has been completely reimagined.

Inside the living room, large windows and built-in shelving surround the space, and a brick fireplace is the focal point. The kitchen features similar design details, with lattice-paned, glass front cabinetry and stainless steel appliances completing the look. Vivid emerald paint, crisp white woodwork, and hardwood floors contrast beautifully in both rooms.

Additional highlights of the home include unique light fixtures, exposed-brick walls, and a long dining table for entertaining.
