Check Out a Free Winter Wonderland at Citi Wang Theatre

Winter is coming to Citi Wang Theatre, and it has nothing to do with Game of Thrones.
Rather, the venue is set to transform its grand lobby into a Winter Wonderland this Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to offer the public some free holiday fun prior to two upcoming holiday shows: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
The highlight of the event will be sneak peek performances of Rudolph, which will take place every hour, but there’s plenty more that will keep you and your family entertained. Free holiday activities include make-your-own snow globes, make-your-own antlers, face painting, cookie decorating, and activities hosted by Legoland Discovery Center Boston. Zoo New England will entertain visitors with an interactive reindeer exhibit.
Swag-wise, look for free samples from Polar Beverages, free Turkey Hill ice cream samples from Mix 104.1, and free ticket giveaways. Even those who don’t win free tickets to Rudolph or White Christmas can still purchase special discounted tickets at the event.
In addition, Santa Claus will be at the Winter Wonderland to take photos with you. However, there are two more attendees who just might steal his thunder, as two giant inflatable Rudolphs—one in the lobby and one outside—will watch over the the event with their noses so bright. At 15 feet tall, they fill out the space quite nicely. Hey buddies, do you want to build a snowman?
