Vigil for Paris Scheduled to Take Place on Boston Common

A vigil has been organized to take place on the Boston Common on Sunday, November 15, in response to a night of terror in Paris, where attacks at six locations throughout the city killed more than 120 people and injured nearly 300 others.
On Saturday morning, Universal Hub tweeted out a link to the Facebook event for the vigil, which will take place at noon, with people gathering at the Parkman Bandstand on the eastern side of the Common.
Additionally, the City of Boston is putting together a condolence book for the people of Paris, which Boston residents can sign at City Hall Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Meanwhile, in Paris, President François Hollande has declared three days of national mourning in the midst of an ongoing investigation into the attacks, which the Islamic State has claimed responsibility for.
The U.S. State Department has confirmed that Americans are among those injured in the attacks, stating that the U.S. government is working closely with French authorities to identify the victims.
