Hood Dishes Out Free Ice Cream Sandwiches at City Hall Plaza Next Week
You likely clicked on this story because you wanted to get the scoop on where to find free ice cream sandwiches. So, we’ll get right to it.
On Tuesday, August 2, Hood will be handing out samples of its new s’mores ice cream sandwich at City Hall Plaza from noon to 4 p.m., in honor of National Ice Cream Sandwich Day. The Lynnfield company’s newest treat spins the campfire classic into a chilled mix of marshmallow-flavored ice cream, chocolate chips, and graham cracker wafers.
The pop-up will be made to look like a campout, too. Enjoy your sandwich surrounded by tents, a vintage Airstream trailer, and plenty of decorative campfires. If you have a few extra minutes to spare on your lunch break, there will also be a few outdoor games and camp tunes to enjoy.
At this point, it’s supposed to be sunny and 80 degrees on Tuesday afternoon, so stop by and grab a sweet treat. You’ve earned it.
Tuesday, August 2, noon-4 p.m., City Hall Plaza, 1 City Hall Square, hood.com.
