Forbes is bringing another big star to town for the Under 30 Summit this fall.

Actor and investor Ashton Kutcher has joined the event’s list of high profile speakers, which already includes names like Maria Sharapova, Chrissy Teigen, and Jessica Alba. Kutcher will make the trip to Boston along with his fellow Sound Ventures cofounder Guy Oseary, who will be speaking at the Summit as well.

The pair is also partnering with Forbes and Boston-based company Rough Draft Ventures to a host one of two “Change the World Competitions for Entrepreneurs” which will give away $1 million in total prizes. Kutcher will be a part of the profit entrepreneurs contest, which will give $500,000 to founders under the age of 30 who have for-profit companies that are innovative, scalable, and can potentially change people’s lives.

The non-profit competition will be hosted by Forbes and the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. The $500,000 contest will explore the efforts of American social entrepreneurs who are coming up with solutions to help solve education issues, focusing on low-income and urban communities.

After applicants for both competitions are screened by faculty and students at Boston College, eight finalist will be chosen (four for each contest) to pitch their ideas on stage at the Under 30 Summit on October 17 and 18. From there, one winner will be selected in each competition.

Forbes’s Under 30 Summit comes to Boston October 16-19. For more information, check out forbesconferences.com.
