Check Out Boston Gilmore Girls Fan Photos from Luke’s Diner
Fans were up bright and early this morning for a chance to visit the regular hangout of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. Luke’s Diner has popped up in Brighton—and dozens of other cafes around the country—to drum up (even more) excitement for the Netflix Gilmore Girls reboot, A Year in the Life, coming November 25.
One Boston magazine staffer who stopped by around 8:30 a.m. said the line snaked on for longer than she was willing to wait. But if you have time today, and are a fan of the show, give it another try: Cafenation will have Gilmore Girls branded coffee cups and sleeves all day long, due to popular demand.
Here are a few fun Instagrams posted at Cafenation this morning.
Lorelei Gilmore would be proud of the line forming early for a steaming hot cup of Luke’s coffee.
The Netflix organizers paid attention to the details.
Truly hate it when adulting gets in the way of coffee/tv obsessions #soclose #butsofar #lukesdiner

Luckily, Luke has no rules against taking photos of coffee.
A sneak peek at the dialogue from Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life confirms Lorelai’s love for coffee hasn’t faded since the original series ended nearly 10 years ago.

How many times do you think Lorelai and Rory have taken a selfie like this?
