York Athletics Has a Week-Long Pop-Up on Newbury Street

This week, you can rebound from Thanksgiving dinner and get a head start on holiday shopping, all at once.
Local footwear company York Athletics Mfg. has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it pop-up shop on Newbury Street, open until December 4. The store may be around only for a week, but York is making the most of its brick and mortar presence.
The store, located in the retail incubator at 144 Newbury Street, will sell York’s understated-cool footwear, clothing, and accessories, and give away one free pair of shoes each day. Beyond that, it’s hosting free fitness programming that’ll make braving the holiday crowds worth it.
The full schedule includes:
- Full-body bootcamp on November 30, taught by trainers from Barry’s Bootcamp
- Fighter Conditioning, led by an instructor from Peter Welch’s Gym, on December 1 and December 3
- An introduction to Budokon Yoga on December 2
- A December 4 guided run around some of Boston’s most iconic landmarks
