Julian Edelman to Read His New Children’s Book at Christmas Charity Event in Boston
Julian Edelman is spreading the holiday cheer this week with a public reading of his new children’s book at a Christmas charity event in Boston.
The Patriots star is scheduled to appear at the 5th annual Celebrity Holiday Tree Auction and Toy Drive Kick-off in the Seaport on Wednesday night. Proceeds from the event will benefit Christmas in the City, a non-profit organization that helps members of the local homeless population and also gives toys and other items to thousands of struggling children during the holidays.
Attendees will be treated to a special reading of Edelman’s new book, Flying High, a “partially autobiographical” tale about football and a squirrel.

In addition to the reading, Edelman will be on hand to auction off a one of a kind Christmas tree decorated by the wide receiver himself, along with a few signed copies of his children’s book. The event will include raffles and additional auctions as well.
The price of admission is a $40 donation and organizers are asking attendees to also bring along one toy that will be given away to a kid in need.
