There Was a Brutal Water Main Break in Beacon Hill
Flooding from Charles and Revere streets has created a mess.

A major water main break in Beacon Hill sent water gushing from the corner of Revere and Charles streets Friday morning, flooding the road, disrupting traffic in the area, and damaging sidewalks.
The rupture, at around 3:30 a.m. sprayed water that flowed down Revere Street all the way to Storrow Drive, reports CBS Boston, and all the way to Cambridge Street near the Charles/MGH MBTA stop. Most of the hubbub at the intersection ended around 8 a.m., but clean-up continues.

According to the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, neighbors should expect to see their water service disrupted.
@BOSTON_WATER crews are working to shorten impacted area. Residents on Revere St from Charles St to West Cedar will see disruptions to water service. Traffic in the area will be impacted as repairs are ongoing.
