Funny Women… Serious Business (FWSB), the Rosie’s Place annual benefit luncheon, raised a record $970,000 thanks to the 1,800 friends and supporters who attended the October 16 event, including guest speaker, Glennon Doyle. Since Rosie’s Place does not accept government funding, events like this are critical to continue to provide a wide range of services for poor and homeless women. This one day accounts for over 9% of our annual fundraising goal.
