First up for the Institute of Contemporary Art’s new chief curator, Helen Molesworth: an exhibition of oceanscapes by Catherine Opie, opening April 12. If she could, Molesworth would also debut something in her Cambridge abode – a set of delicate Ted Muehling candlesticks from E. R. Butler & Co. ($156 — $1,092). “I admire how the designer drew on historical forms, yet created something that feels quite contemporary,” she says. “My home has a mix of midcentury modern and American Mission furniture. I’m always looking for things that go with both styles.”
