During Fashion’s Night Out on September 7, student designers at MassArt debuted a collection of Wearable Art that is now on display in Center Court at Copley Place until September 27.
The full exhibit includes bridalwear, suits, costumes, and more. But the showstoppers are dresses created completely from non-textiles. In true Project Runway challenge-form, the MassArt designers cut, pasted, trimmed, stitched, weaved, and tied unconventional materials to create truly impressive works on art.
