And he makes a funny joke!

Tom Brady shared a Throwback Thursday photo on Facebook today that inspires some giggles and nostalgia. The Pats QB even makes a funny joke:

Found my old resume! Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round. #tbt

Thomas E. Brady Jr.’s resume is stacked with notable milestones from his University of Michigan days. After joining the Wolverines as a freshman, he was a backup quarterback for two years before rising to team captain by his senior year.

What’s fun about Brady’s #TBT resume is that football is listed last. Like many student athletes who fear that their sports careers may be peaking, Brady listed his education and “regular” work experience first: a Bachelor of General Studies, a 3.3 GPA, and an internship at Merrill Lynch during which he was “exposed to upper-level management and company strategy.”

Brady supervised park security at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival. He “developed interpersonal skills and exemplified flexibility” at the Polo Fields Gold and Country Club in Jackson, Mich. And all the way at the bottom, listed under “Additional”: “Guided football team as starting quarterback to 1998 Big Ten Championship and postseason bowl victory.”

Imagine if this resume led Tom Brady in a completely different direction in life. Instead of being considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time; married to one of the greatest supermodels of all time; and buying, building, and selling multimillion-dollar homes on Newbury Street, New York, Los Angeles, and Brookline; he could be behind a desk somewhere working as a broker for Merrill Lynch. No offense to Merrill Lynch, but we’re glad Brady got drafted.

Big athletic guys like that just don’t fit well in office cubicles.
