Stage American Vaudeville Nightclub Opening in Boston

The Theater District is about to get a little more freaky, thanks to a new nightclub that’s slated to open January 16 in the Boylston Place alley off Boylston Street across from the Common.
Stage American Vaudeville Nightclub promises to transport guests to a pre-Prohibition party with all the trimmings—velvet ropes and a secret entrance, glitzy decor and lots of liquid courage, and Vaudeville-style live entertainment ranging from glass walkers and knife throwers to burlesque and flapper dancers. Entertainment beyond the era will include DJs and krumpers. For Leonardo DiCaprio fans out there, think: the opulence of a Great Gatsby bash, with a dash of Wolf of Wall Street debauchery. It’s a nightclub, after all.
In other words, here’s a new venue designed for those who imbibe at less theme-y venues and find their bored buzzed selves thinking, “Yawn, if only it were 1910.”
The club will have four stages and four bars at the former home of Liquor Store nightclub across from Estate, and will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Stage American Vaudeville Nightclub is a concept from Russ deMariano and Ed Brooks of Speakeasy Concepts and The Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails and SJ Torres of Howl at the Moon and Down Ultra Lounge.
