BCAE Offers Blue Man Group Behind-the-Scenes Experience
Since 1995, the Blue Man Group has called the Charles Playhouse their home, entertaining countless locals and tourists alike. Twenty years later, BMG is a perennial fixture in Boston’s arts and entertainment scene, and their bald blue appearances are, of course, now iconic.
Their shows are action-packed and wonderfully family-friendly. Those who haven’t seen a BMG show should include it on their list of “things to see at least once.”
For an especially unique Blue Man Group experience, consider this: Later this month, the Boston Center for Adult Education is offering a special look behind the scenes of a Blue Man Group show. The experience includes a backstage tour with one of the Blue Men, who will show attendees around during pre-show preparations. Then, after watching the show, guests can attend a private meet-and-greet, complete with photo opps, a Q&A session, and some Blue Man swag to take home.
The $75 price tag is worth it—regular ticket prices range from $59 to $118, and don’t come with the exclusive behind-the-scenes look. Visitors will also receive a $10 gift card to Abby Lane, located just around the corner from the Charles Playhouse.
$75 (includes show and Abby Lane gift card), Thursday, January 29, 6 p.m., Charles Playhouse, 74 Warrenton St., Boston. Registration required at bcae.org or 617-267-4430.
