Former Menton chef de cuisine and Top Chef: Seattle champion, Kristen Kish, has announced that she’ll be hosting a new show on the Travel Channel with former professional soccer player Kyle Martino. A collaborative project with The New York Times, “36 Hours” will follow Kish and Martino as they spend a day-and-a-half exploring various cities around the globe. According to a press release, the duo will meet up with “local insiders” and visit culinary attractions unique to each city.

Six episodes have been green-lit so far, but no premiere date has yet been set. The itinerary for each episode has been chosen New York Times editors and contributors to coincide with their “36 Hours” column. Stay tuned for more details.
