Where to Board Your Pet During Your Honeymoon

Those big sad eyes. Those fluffy bodies lying across your open suitcase. They know you’re about to leave. No guilt here—okay, maybe just a little.

To avoid any stress while you’re away on your honeymoon, treat your pet to one of these upscale kennels around town:

Luxe Pet Resort (1220 Veterans of Foreign Wars Pkwy, West Roxbury): Overnight stays here include daycare. Translation: When Fifi isn’t hanging out in her crate-free, private luxury suite on a hypoallergenic, elevated bed, surrounded by soothing music, she’s doing that ruff-and-tumble dog thing in the playspace. Traditional rooms range in size, but all include orthopedic beds, along with daycare or two hours of private exercise. For your extra-special canine, choose a Luxury Box—an extra-roomy bedroom with veranda doors and at least 48 square feet of private space that faces the indoor park and pool. Some even have cable TV and private Skype services.
