Get your dad what he really wants: beer and a big slab of ribs. Right on the heels of Bambara’s Bacon and Beer Festival appearance at Fenway Park, chef Jay Silva is whipping up half-racks ($12) and full racks ($18) of his signature ribs, served with coleslaw, house-made cornbread, along with two Mayflower beers—Summer Rye and Porter—on tap.

Summer Seafood at Bob’s Clam Hut
Time for a road trip? Head to Kittery for some iconic fried clams at this Maine staple. Open since 1956, Bob’s has been serving up chowder and deep-fried seafood to its legions of fans for almost 60 years now. But this summer, it’s not just the seafood that’s legendary. Bob’s Clam Hut and Robert’s Maine Grill are ushering in the warmer weather with new barbecue dinner items like hickory smoked brisket and St. Louis-style ribs.

Avventarse Dinner at Bondir Cambridge
Tonight, Bondir hops over the Alps from France to Italy for their Avventarse Dinner—bondir and avventarse mean “to jump” in French and Italian, respectively. For this four-course menu, they’re serving asparagus caramelle, ravioli doppio with porcini confit and truffles, lamb lasagna, and ricotta tart with Sicilian pistachio, wild fennel strawberry sorbetto, and aged balsamico.

“Beefed Up” Father’s Day Brunch at Foundry on Elm
Even if your dad is the Paul Bunyan-type, there’s no way he’s leaving Foundry on Elm hungry. For their meat-tastic Father’s Day brunch, Foundry’s executive chef Shayne Nunes is busting out “dueling carving stations” (exciting!) featuring slow-roasted prime rib and mustard-roasted ham. There’s also an omelet station. And on top of that, you can heap your plates high with baked French toast, crepes, bacon and sausage, home fries, and more.

Surf & Turf Dinner at Met Back Bay
