It’s the apex of summer, and you’re gonna have to pry the weekend out of our cold, dead hands. And until we hit Labor Day, it’s all about the Monday fundays. This week’s installment of late-night Monday antics comes courtesy of Coppa, the South End enoteca that nabbed our 2015 award for general excellence .

Tonight, Coppa’s Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette—already on deck for an eight-course fundraising dinner for Eli Kulp—are bringing Further Food Stuffs’ chef Dan Amighi (La Brasa, Ribelle, Bondir) and barman Patrick Gaggiano (Viale, Brick & Mortar, La Brasa) into Coppa for a four-course late-night meal. According to Gaggiano, Further Food Stuffs is all about infusing the fine dining experience with a laid-back dinner party vibe: “How we look at it is, what would we cook for people if we had them over at our house?”

At this Further Foodstuffs pop-up event, the culinary onslaught kicks off with a selection of antipasti, including handmade bread, a crudo dish, and vegetable-centric nibbles. They’ll follow that up with entrees such as wood-oven-cooked Boston mackerel with summer squash tsukemono (Japanese pickles) and grain and sunflower stew. Will there be dessert? Yes, indeed. All this can be yours for $75 per person—a price that includes beverage pairings, tax, and gratuity. Call Coppa to reserve your spot.

$75, July 27, 10:30 p.m., Coppa, 253 Shawmut Ave., Boston, 617-391-0902, coppaboston.com.
