Consider the hummingbird, that tiny harbinger of summertime, spending its days flitting about in search of its next sugar high. Envious? Well, now you can live the dream, and indulge your sweet tooth like never before.
For Sugar Rush, an annual all-star dessert extravaganza unfolding over the course of two weeks, New England’s top pastry wizards work their confectionery magic. Each installment features insulin-spiking creations from five chefs. Last week featured chefs hailing from Post 390, 80 Thoreau, Café Artscience, Deuxave, and Eastern Standard.
Tonight, Sugar Rush returns to Harvest, whose Brian Mercury nabbed our award for Best Pastry Chef this year. The full roster for the evening:
