Some prolific guy once noted that all the world’s a stage. So how about putting your wedding right in the middle of that stage by hosting it in the heart of downtown Boston’s Theater District, at the Hyatt Regency Boston?
Whatever you envision for your urban wedding, this venue has a stage manager (read: wedding planner) to help your dream become reality.
They offer three ballroom spaces for your big day, as well as two gorgeous outdoor terraces for your ceremony or cocktail hour. A gala wedding is easy to vision in the newly renovated 5,046-square-foot Grand Ballroom, with exquisite crystal chandeliers, hand-made wall coverings, and gold-leaf tray ceilings. For a more intimate gathering, you can divide the room in half; or for a larger affair, use the whole space, which can comfortably accommodate 350 guests.
The ballroom’s adjoining Adrienne Salon is one of the only oval rooms in Boston, and the 1,560-square-foot space is ideal for cocktail hours. Allow the party to overflow into the city’s grand skyline with the Grand Ballroom Terrace, just a stroll through the French doors to an outdoor space that can be decorated as you wish.
Smaller receptions and ceremony find their perfect place in the luxurious Cape Cod room, a 2,524-square-foot space adorned with chandeliers and mirrored walls that can host a banquet for 100 guests and a reception for 250.

At the Hyatt Regency, they take every detail to heart. Before the celebration, you’ll have access to private areas for your “first look,” wedding photography, a bridal cocktail hour, and even a children’s room for little ones who need a place to play during the wedding. Your reception is decked out in Chiavari chairs , satin linens, white glove service, and votives everywhere, and three-course plated dinner offers innovative dishes. Top it all off with a pretty sweet ending—a custom-designed wedding cake from 2015 Best of Boston winner Konditor Meister or Montilios.
