Watch Matt Damon Act Out Scenes from His Famous Movie Roles with James Corden
Thanks to Matt Damon’s seemingly never ending press tour for his new flick The Martian, the Boston-bred actor has appeared on pretty much every talk show under the sun over the past few weeks.
After dishing about his (fake) ponytail on The Graham Norton Show, hugging things out with Jimmy Kimmel in couples therapy, and doing the “nae nae” with Ellen DeGeneres, Damon finally made his way over to The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night.
Fans who wondered how the actor could possibly top his previous late night appearances may have been pleasantly surprised by his latest skit.
Host James Corden took Damon on a trip down memory lane as the pair performed super quick scenes from all of the actor’s biggest movies. The hilarious sketch covered most of his major roles, from his turn as Scott Thorson in HBO’s Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra to Private First Class James Francis Ryan in Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan.
The pair also took a stab at Damon’s Boston-based films The Departed and Good Will Hunting as well.
The skit wrapped up with a little song and dance number as the duo perfomed the Renato Carosone hit “Tu vuò fà l’americano,” which Damon famously sang with Jude Law during the jazz club scene in The Talented Mr. Ripley.
