Chel Bella Hosts a Fashion Show to Benefit the BCRF
The ladies who lunch headed to Hingham Tuesday afternoon for a fall fashion show hosted by Chel Bella owner Chelsea Orr to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Held at Square Cafe just a few short blocks from her South Street boutique, the event donated 30% of ticket sales (which sold out in a matter of days) to the BCRF.
102 of Orr’s friends, family, and fashionable clientele enjoyed a three-course gourmet lunch while watching a fashion presentation of her favorite autumn picks from the boutique — expertly informed by her recent trip to New York Fashion Week. Strong trends included luxe fur cowls, bold floral prints, long statement jackets, and updated takes on the classic wrap dress.
Among the best dressed was local stylist Elisha Daniels in a powder blue dress by Céline and a matching wool Rebecca Taylor coat; philanthropist and wife to Patriots coach Bill Belichick, Linda Holliday, in an embroidered Veronica Beard shirt dress; and the woman of the hour herself, Chelsea Orr in an Alice+Olivia box pleat mini skirt, burgundy crew neck top, and glitter peep-toe Louboutins.
Also in attendance was Sarra owner and brow-shaper extraordinaire Lauren Genatossio; Hingham hairstylist Andrew Zona – both of whom helped to style the models; PR maven Kelley Doyle; Chelsea’s husband and NHL talent agent Darren Orr; and of course, his father, hockey legend Bobby Orr.
After the fashion show, guests were invited back to the boutique and shop their favorite looks from the runway. 20% of yesterday’s in-store sales are also to be donated to the BCRF.
