Boston Pride star forward Hilary Knight has been named a captain in the National Women’s Hockey League’s inaugural All-Star Game, opposite Emily Pfalzer of the Buffalo Beauts, who will host the event at the HarborCenter.

The 2016 All-Star Game, scheduled for January 24 at 1:30 p.m., will consist of two, 20-minute periods of 4-on-4 play. Knight and Pfalzer will select 11 of their team’s 14 players early next month, with a social media fan vote for the remaining two roster spots shortly thereafter. The winning team will receive 20 percent of the profits from ticket sales, split evenly.

In addition, the league hold a number of festivities coinciding with the game, including a skills competition, autograph signings, and a “Skate with the Stars,” in which 80 lucky fans will get a chance to skate with the players the day before the big game.

The NWHL also unveiled the game’s logo, designed by Marce de la Vega.

Tickets are $25 and go on sale Black Friday. Skate with the Stars tickets will sell for $125.
