Despite his best efforts, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got clobbered by the Denver Broncos’ soul-crushing defense in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. He was hit 20 times in the 20-18 loss, more than any other quarterback this season. The offensive line was so appallingly bad, the Patriots parted ways with O-line coach Dave DeGuglielmo—an out-of-character move from a team not known for being all that reactionary in its personnel decisions.

Now, an anonymous player on the Broncos D told MMQB’s Robert Klemko that in addition to creating pressure on nearly half of all Brady’s drop-backs, he tried smush his genitalia all over Brady’s chiseled visage.

“I tried to lay on him a few times,” the Broncos rusher said after the title game. “I tried to rub my nuts on his face.”

Talk about adding insult to injury. Besides, wouldn’t Brady’s face mask get in the way?

For all the alleged rubbing, Brady was fairly complimentary of the Broncos pass rush in his postgame remarks.

“They’ve got a great rush. They’ve got some great pass rushers, they’ve got interior pass rushers, they’ve got some outside rushers,” Brady said. “I think you complement that with good coverage and it was just tough for us to ever get into a rhythm and finally to score some points there at the end and then for it to come down to a two point conversion is a tough way to obviously end the season.”
