This Is Not a Drill: Beyoncé Is Coming to Gillette Stadium
Coldplay and Bruno Mars weren’t the only ones outshined by Beyoncé as she pretty much stole the spotlight from the entire Super Bowl on Sunday night.
After an amazing performance during this year’s halftime show, Queen Bey took the opportunity to announce her “Formation” world tour with a sultry black and white ad. Sorry Von Miller, but this move by Beyoncé made her the real MVP of Super Bowl 50.
The upcoming tour will make its way over to Gillette Stadium on Friday, June 3.
There’s no word yet on whether her hubby Jay-Z will make an appearance, although he was a co-headliner on their “On the Run” tour, which stopped in Foxborough on July 1, 2014.
“Formation” will kick off on Wednesday, April 27 in Miami and will wrap up in Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday, July 7.
Beyoncé will only be making one trip to New England this summer, so be sure to catch her while she’s here unless you want to travel to New York City. Beyoncé is set to play at Citi Field on Tuesday, June 7.
Pre-sale tickets will begin in select markets starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9. They will officially go on sale via Ticketmaster on Tuesday, February 16.
