Local All-Star Chefs Rock the Sinclair for ‘Eat Your Heart Out’

Sticky floors, sweaty patrons, heaving bodies, deafening noise…The general rule of thumb is, a great rock show experience makes for a lousy dining experience. But there are plenty of rulebreakers—notably the Sinclair, which boasts as much talent in its kitchen as on its club stage.
Fitting, then, that the Sinclair is where you can catch the latest installment of Eat Your Heart Out, an event that pairs top-rate local chefs with a headlining band. This Sunday, watch Boston Music Award winning party band Bad Rabbits and chow down on small plates whipped up by a dozen of Boston restaurant rockstars, all to benefit local charities Future Chefs and Girls Rock.
The list of participating chefs is a veritable culinary Coachella. On the marquee:

Tiger Mama
Dish: Brownie & Chocolate Universe
Inspiration: David Bowie’s “I’d Rather Be High”
Spoke Wine Bar
Dish: White Rabbit Porchetta Sandwich (featuring local mozzarella, fennel, pecorino aioli)
Inspiration: Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit”
Blackbird Donuts
Dish: Two flavors of mini doughnuts, The Elvis (with a peanut butter base and banana mousse with a peanut topping) and She’s My Cherry Pie, a cherry pie/doughtnut hybrid
Inspiration: Elvis (famed for his love of the PBB&B) and Warrant’s “She’s My Cherry Pie”
Townsman
Dish: Donald Duck Pozole
Inspiration: The funk and R&B band, Booker T & the MG’s—specifically, Donald “Duck” Dunn, who played with the group until his death in 2012
