The first image of Vince Wilfork’s Body Issue cover for ESPN The Magazine has finally arrived.

The former Patriots nose tackle recently stripped down for the annual issue along with a host of other star athletes, including Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, Denver Broncos player and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, as well as a ton of other big names.

Prior to the image’s release on Friday, Wilfork had some fun on social media by poking fun at his former teammate Tom Brady. The current Houston Texans star tweeted out a video telling the Patriots quarterback to have his wife Gisele Bündchen call his people so Wilfork can springboard his Body Issue cover into a career in modeling.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Wilfork revealed that he decided to pose for the issue in order to inspire “bigger-boned” people to have a little more confidence.

“I just think it’s a good idea for people that are bigger-boned,” he said. “If people can look at me, a guy that’s 325-plus, doing an issue like this, I’m pretty sure that they might have a little confidence.”

The former Patriots player added, “I’m perfectly fine with who I am as a person and what I have accomplished. It shows a lot of my personality.”
