Elizabeth Warren Breaks Down Donald Trump’s RNC Speech with Stephen Colbert

Elizabeth Warren stopped by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night to talk about Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention.

As expected, the Massachusetts senator wasn’t a fan of the candidate’s remarks, as she criticized Trump for sounding like a “two-bit dictator” during his speech.

“That speech tonight, he sounded like some two-bit dictator of some country that you couldn’t find on a map,” Warren said. “He sounded like a dictator of a small country rather than a man who is running for the highest office of the strongest democracy on the face of this earth.”

While Warren had some harsh words for the Republican nominee, she did admit that the Democratic party may be underestimating Trump’s chances of winning the presidency.

“I think everybody is underestimating Donald Trump,” Warren said. “He is one dangerous man and we need to take him really seriously, take him out now.”

Colbert went on to ask Warren about her frequent Twitter feuds with the business mogul turned politician and if she considers herself a bully for her not-so-nice tweets. Warren jokingly replied “boo hoo” and feigned concern over hurting Trump’s feelings.

“Oh that poor little billionaire,” Warren said. “Did I hurt his feelings by talking about his policies that he does not have? Give me a break here.”

She added, “I don’t know how there’s anybody left in America who isn’t afraid of Donald Trump.”

As for the Democratic candidate in the race, Warren praised Hillary Clinton for being a fighter for women’s rights, health care, and other issues, despite receiving so much push back over the years.

“She just keeps getting up and fighting for it again,” Warren said. “I just have to say, I like women who fight back.”
