Michael Phelps Is Leading a Morning Run Along the Esplanade Tomorrow
Michael Phelps would certainly smoke you in the pool, but do you think you could catch him on foot? You’ll soon have the chance to find out.
On Tuesday, the 28-time Olympic medalist will trade his swimsuit for sneakers and lead a morning run along the Esplanade. Casual.
The jaunt is part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit, a conference honoring young entrepreneurs and innovators. Phelps will colead the run with Randall Lane, the editor of Forbes, and Dan Koh, the mayor’s chief of staff and a former Forbes honoree. The group will meet at the Hatch Shell at 7:30 a.m., depart at 8 a.m. for the Massachusetts Avenue bridge, then loop back to the Hatch Shell.
Sadly, only Forbes 30 Under 30 participants may officially attend the event—but who are we to stop you from enjoying a morning jog along the Esplanade tomorrow? After all, the foliage is beautiful this time of year. You could even say the leaves look downright, well, golden.
