Meghan Trainor Is Dating a Spy Kids Star Thanks to Chloë Grace Moretz
Meghan Trainor has a tendency to say “no” to would-be suitors and possible “future husbands,” but she just couldn’t resist going on a date with former Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara.
On Wednesday’s episode of Chelsea Handler’s Netflix talk show, the Nantucket native revealed that she was set up with Sabara by her Hollywood pal Chloë Grace Moretz. Trainor gave the Kick-Ass actress all the credit for finding her a new boyfriend.
“Day one of meeting her, I was like, ‘You know anybody that I can date or love or whatever?'” Trainor said. “She’s like, ‘I know the nicest guy in the world, Daryl, and you should meet him.'”
While the couple seems to have hit it off, Trainor didn’t want to go public with the relationship too quickly due to concerns of being hounded by the press. However, after a few months with Sabara, the Grammy Award-winning singer finally felt comfortable posting about her new beau on social media.
“I was like, ‘I want to post about it but I’m terrified they’ll attack you,'” Trainor told Sabara. “Then I just did it and no one said anything and I was like, ‘Oh great.’ So I posted a bunch.”
Trainor’s Instagram feed is filled with photos of the couple acting as adorable as possible.
