Win a Date with Captain America Star Chris Evans in Boston

If you missed the opportunity to hang out with Tom Brady, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon, don’t fret. Another local celebrity is offering fans a chance to win a star-studded date night in Boston.

Taking a cue from his fellow Bay State natives, Captain America actor Chris Evans has launched his own Omaze campaign in support of Christopher’s Haven. The Boston-based charity helps pediatric cancer patients and their families find housing while they receive treatment away from their homes at area hospitals.

The Marvel movie star has put together a sweet grand prize, as one lucky winner and a friend will get to tackle a scare-filled escape room adventure with the Hollywood A-lister, followed by “celebratory burgers and beers.” The awesome package also includes a flight to Boston (for non-locals) as well as 4-star hotel accommodations.

Fans can enter the contest for as little as a $10 donation, while donors who give above the minimum will take home some cool prizes, such as autographed DVDs and personalized voice messages from Evans, depending on the amount.

Evans has used his superheroic fame quite a bit over the years to help out local cancer patients.

The Star-Spangled Avenger brought his pal Falcon, aka actor Anthony Mackie, to hang out with children at MGH in August. Prior to the visit, Evans teamed up with Gaurdians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt to brighten the day of kids at Christopher’s Haven last year, an amazing moment that came about after the actors’ hilarious Super Bowl bet.
