Mark Wahlberg Fights Alien Robots Again in New Transformers Trailer

How do you top the explosions and chaos of Michael Bay’s first four Transformers movies? Well, you throw in some medieval knights, turn Optimus Prime against his Autobot pals, and give Mark Wahlberg a call.

All that mayhem and more are on full display in the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, the franchise’s upcoming fifth installment. The new Transformers film will feature a teamup between Wahlberg and the series’ original star Josh Duhamel, as they try to figure out what exactly is going on with these cybernetic alien menaces.

Duhamel told Boston magazine earlier this year that he had a great time fighting otherwordly robots with Wahlberg in the flick, however, he didn’t dare try to keep up with the Boston-bred actor’s intense workout regimen during filming.

“He gets up at like 3 in the morning and works out, then goes and plays 18 holes of golf,” Duhamel said. “I don’t love golf that much.”
