Alden & Harlow
Brunch is firing on all cylinders at the Harvard Square restaurant, where chef Michael Scelfo will have a number of specials alongside the restaurant’s standard brunch fare. Plates include soft scrambled eggs with whipped goat cheese, lobster Benedict with an English muffin and spicy hollandaise, and much more.

As it’s just softly opening on New Year’s Eve, this new Fort Point spot is anticipating a big night. Hence, this preview of Hangover Brunch, which is slated to debut regularly later in January. In addition to 100-plus beers, food options include the namesake Hangover, with with country sausage gravy, cheddar, fried egg, caramelized onions and breakfast potatoes; and more.
