The new, multi-branded Kravet Inc. showroom sets the scene for the definitive shopping experience, through contemporary architecture, illuminated ambiance, and a relaxed on-site café. This fifth generation family business is a one-stop-shop for distinctive textiles, furniture, carpet, lighting, wall coverings, and accessories. Cowtan & Tout’s first stand-alone showroom in Boston is a light and uplifting space dedicated to their prestigious line-up of the world’s finest decorative textile brands. As Boston Design Center’s first retail space, Ann Sacks recently moved from the third floor of the BDC to the ground floor of 21 Drydock Avenue. Encompassing both traditional and modern aesthetics, the new location is all about tactile experiences. The recently opened Scavolini showroom introduces design professionals to warm and sophisticated Italian luxury cabinets. The newest location for the Cucina Moda group, this custom-made 3,000-square-foot destination has a residential kitchen and bathroom focus. Hosting a style-savvy collection of five full kitchen and four bathroom vignettes, the well-appointed showroom offers the latest trends, a cornerstone of Scavolini’s contemporary Italian aesthetic. New York City-based PID Floors brings its hardwood flooring to the BDC with the opening of its new fifth floor showroom. This multi-generational, family-owned firm is mindful of its environmental impact – most of PID’s raw resources come from responsibly managed forests.
