Attention: Cat Yoga Is Happening in Beverly

An event happening this month gives new meaning to cat-cow pose.

SoHoCats Luxury Feline Hotel, in Beverly, is hosting a cat yoga class on January 19. While, sadly, you won’t get to see any felines attempting downward dog, they will be wandering throughout the room as you go through a 60-minute relaxing flow, taught by Tina from Salem’s Black Widow Yoga. Who knows? A cuddly companion may even join you as you settle into savasana.

The event also includes 30 minutes of social time with human and feline guests, just in case you need some extra pets and purrs. Small snacks will also be provided.

Can’t make it to class? You’ll soon have another chance to make feline friends. Brighton will welcome its very own cat café sometime this year.
