The Trustees Are Hosting Hikes Even Indoorsy People Will Love

Say yes to moonlit hikes followed by local beers.

Leave the bar behind. The Trustees are giving you a much cooler way to spend your weekends.

Once a month, the Trustees will host Brew Moon Hikes—a.k.a, moonlit hikes finished off with beers from local breweries. (Don’t worry, hikes are guided and gentle enough to be done by the light of a full moon.) The beers of choice will change each month, and excursions will take place on one of the many trails within Medfield’s Rocky Woods.

The next hike, on February 10, will have you trekking through the Rocky Woods—on snowshoes, depending on the weather—then heading back to Chickering Cabin, where you can reward yourself with snacks and beverages from Norwood’s Castle Island Brewing. Tickets cost $12 for Trustees members, or $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it? The next scheduled hike, in partnership with Framingham’s Exhibit A Brewing, will take place on March 12. As the weather warms and days grow longer, the monthly hikes will start later and overnight campsites will be available as post-hike accommodations.

Register for the February hike here. Your boots and brews await.

$20, 2/10, 7 p.m. Rocky Woods, Medfield, thetrustees.org.
