Tired of squats, lunges, and bicep curls? Soon, you’ll have a new place to flip, juggle, and tumble.

This fall, Jamaica Plain will welcome Commonwealth Circus Center (C3), a brand new studio run by professional circus artists. You’ll be able to play out your big top fantasies with multi-week classes including trapeze, aerials, tumbling, partner acrobatics, hand balancing, hula hooping, juggling, and more.

C3 is shooting to open on September 4, in an old Boston Globe distribution center at 4 Brookley Road. Ahead of its grand opening, from August 21 through September 3, it will offer “taster” classes that give aspiring acrobats a chance to try multiple disciplines at once.

The studio will offer classes for kids and adults at all levels of experience. And thanks to a partnership with local organization Circus Up, C3 will be able to offer subsidized youth and school programming to the JP community.

The studio is also raising money for new equipment through an Indiegogo campaign, which will launch on April 24.
